The Târnavelor plateau, a hilly and high area, located at about 350 meters altitude, offers us an
extremely suitable terroir for Pinot Noir, a delicate variety, which, when cultivated with dedication,
becomes versatile and full of flavor. Whether we use it in red, fruity and elegant wines, in fresh and
aromatic rosés or we highlight its exuberant character in the sparkling Cuvée Celést.
In 2019 we took our passion for Pinot Noir even further and decided to produce the first Villa Vinèa
brandy, distilled in double strength, which we aged for 4 months in oak barrels, (previously used for
the maturation of one of our most appreciated and awarded wines, Diamant Selection). The result is a
yellowish, light, consistent color and a classic taste, which retains the aromas of grapes and blends
perfectly with subtle shades, extracted from oak barrels. With an alcohol concentration of 45%, Villa
Vinèa brandy fits perfectly with Romanian dishes, served on cold winter days and can be associated
with pork, dense sauces or soups.
